Mark Dekan

CEO

Mark Dekan in his role as CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG is responsible for the Central Eastern European Joint Venture between Axel Springer and Ringier, the biggest digital media company in CEE. In addition, he holds the position of CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Polska, managing one of the largest media groups in the region.

Before his appointment as CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG in 2013, Mark Dekan was as the CFO responsible for the establishment and management of the finance function of the Group. Mark Dekan has extensive experience in the media business, including the traditional and digital parts of media, as well as in the management of large and diverse organisations. His experience comes from international and local markets, where he worked on leadership positions in Management Boards and Supervisory Boards.

Elena Jasvoin

CFO

Elena Jasvoin was appointed CFO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG in January 2018. Before joining the company in March 2016, she worked since 2013 as Managing Director and CFO at Zeppelin Systems Russia & CIS, where she established and led the plant engineering business. Prior to this, she held several other executive posts within the same organization, among them CFO for Zeppelin Russia. Beforehand, she worked in various other companies, including Amtel properties development, Metro Cash & Carry, and consulting firm EY. Elena holds an Executive MBA from IMD Lausanne and an MBA Degree from California State University.

Jovan Protic

Jovan Protic has been with Ringier Axel Springer since 2005. Up until 2014, he has worked as the CDO at Ringier Axel Springer Serbia. In February 2016 he has joined Ringier Axel Springer Media AG Leadership Team, where he is responsible for the field of Digital Publishing. Since September 2018 he has been a Member of the Board of Ringier Axel Springer Polska.

He spent nearly ten years in the human resources consultancy sector working in the Hungarian market, as well as in Central Eastern Europe and the United States of America. Then he joined the Profession.hu team as Head of Sales in 2008 and has been managing the entire company since 2012. Hungary's leading recruitment service became part of the Ringier Axel Springer Media AG portfolio in 2015.

Aleksander Kutela

Aleksander Kutela joined Ringier Axel Springer Polska in 2015. In February 2016 he became the COO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, and in September 2018, after the merger of companies pertaining to Onet-RAS Polska Group into one legal entity he became the Vice President of the Board of Ringier Axel Springer Polska. Up until 2015 Aleksander Kutela served as the CEO of HBO Polska (2000-2015) and vice president of HBO Europe (2007-2015).
