As a leading media company in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia, Ringier Axel Springer Media AG aims to further expand on this position and establish itself as the leading integrated multimedia company in central and eastern Europe.
The profitable growth and success of the company is primarily based on the following factors:
• Print-based core brands – In all countries the organisation dominates the tabloid market and has top newspapers and magazines in its portfolio. These strong titles are the basis for the company’s success and will therefore be strengthened and developed further.
• Cross-media extension – There will be further development in the digital form of the strong print brands. For this reason, the company is adapting its structure and organisation in order to achieve optimal integration of its print, online and mobile channels.
• Tapping new business segments – Investments in digital companies and new business models should provide the company with additional sources of revenue and usefully complement the existing strong portfolio
